Branford Ct. This was a complete Klipsch Ultra THX II room. The room was built from scratch out of metal studs and was finished with plywood and 3/4" drywall to keep the sound in and keep any rattles out. This has to of been one of the LOUDEST rooms we have ever built. The only thing I can compare it to would be an actual movie theater with 4 times the volume decibel.
Madison Ct. This was another Klipsch Ultra THX II system. Back when we did this room Klipsch did not offer the Ultra THX in-wall speakers. Since the standard Klipsch THX speakers are large enclosures we had to custom build the ceiling section in the rear and reinforce the ceiling. We then made custom grilles to go over the speakers and hide them as best as possible. The ceilings are really high so they blend in quite well.
Guilford Ct. We did the pre-wire here on one of the coldest days ever. It had to of been -20 degrees working in the cold. It was so cold the shielding on the wire would crack on the ends. This was a complete pre-wire installation including phone, internet in every room. One home theater in the basement and three TVs in custom built housings so they could be flush mounted. We also added a complete Elan multi-room music system in 10 rooms in the house.
Madison Ct. This was one of the most intense one room theaters we ever did. The client wanted a media room with a TV on the wall, but when he wanted to watch a movie he wanted a projection screen to come out of the ceiling to cover the TV. This took a lot of equipment and programming to make it work. Klipsch THX speakers were also used as well as 2 flush mounted Middle Atlantic racks that roll out for servicing the equipment. I wish I could find more of the pictures I had taken of this project. There is also a video of the projection screen coming out over the TV.
Madison Ct. This was also a complete pre-wire but I lost the new construction photos due to a hard drive crash back in 2008. This was just one room we did. I will never forget hanging this TV since it was when the 60" Plasma TVs were just hitting the market and they were BIG and HEAVY. It was not fun mounting it up that high and with the fireplace in the way getting the ladders placed in the right position was quite a task. Believe it or not about a month after hanging the TV the clients wife wanted a smaller TV up so we ended up taking it down and putting up a 50" LG Plasma. Fun times. We also added Klipsch in-wall surround & subs.
Connecticut Malls So far we have done 3 Studio Brow stores. The client started with one in the Milford Mall and now has stores in Trumbull and Meriden Malls as well. If you ever need your eyebrows done this is the place to go. We supplied Network music and CCTV cameras at all the stores which can all seen at the home base office in one location on an Ipad. Each store has 3 to 4 Samasung LED TVs which stream loops of custom promo videos from the home base office. When you walk into a Studio Brow store your in a world of technology.
